Chevron Gorgon Gas Project

Client: Hertel Modern

Owner: Chevron

Location: Barrow Island, Western Australia

Project Value: $50 billion

Malaga’s Hertel Modern won a three-year, $90 million contract to provide paint, insulation and fireproofing services on Chevron’s Gorgon liquefied natural gas development.

Track’em was contracted by both Leighton Contractors and Hertel to implement materials, time and stores tracking for the construction of the Gorgon Project located off the north-west coast of Western Australia.

Leighton and Hertel Modern required a complete resource planning solution for their construction work on the world’s largest natural gas project. Objectives included saving time and money, the ability to track and manage thousands of items, the streamlining of staff management and simplification of operations on and off-site.

Track’em tailored a suite of its products to enable the companies to achieve these objectives.
